Accountants: Dates for the diary this summer
Eric Clapton, Owner and Founder of Clapton Consultants will be chairing and speaking at two specialist workshops for accountants in the build up to summer. Both ICAEW events offer expert insight into developing a successful financial planning strategy to assist both new and established practices with long term client retention.
FP Workshop: Tax Alpha – Thursday 19th May at 6pm
Held in the Chartered Accountant’s Hall at ICAEW, Moorgate Place, London, the ‘Tax-Alpha’ workshop will outline proactive tax based financial planning strategies to help build durable and profitable relationships with clients. Building a Personal Financial Planning Practice: cash-flow modelling – Tuesday 14th June at 6pm
Also hosted at the Chartered Accountant’s Hall at ICAEW, the cash-flow modelling workshop will show how lifetime cash-flow planning and the use of modern financial modelling software can build sustainable client relationships and help firms better manage their professional and regulatory obligations. In addition to Eric, speakers include Bob Freeman, chief operating officer at Voyant, UK and John Gaskell, Financial Planning and Advice Manager within the Financial Services faculty at ICAEW.
