This month, Eric Clapton, Owner and Founder of Clapton Consultants will be chairing a specialist workshop for accountants looking to set up in business. The ICAEW Spotlight Event is aimed at those considering setting up their own practice, or working independently from home.
Held on 19th November at 200 Aldersgate Street, St Pauls, London, the workshop will explore in detail the principles of business planning and financial management with insights from three practitioners; namely, Salman Magbool, Anne Coleman and Paul Bulpitt on why they set up, what it took to get started, and what it takes to maintain and manage a successful practice.
Clapton Consultants will also be hosting a workshop at the Financial Services Faculty Retirement Summit on 26th November. The event is aimed at those already in practice who would like to learn about the business opportunities available to them via more effective collaboration with IFAs.
